You work with the person who builds it
BZ Development is Bogoljub Zec, a web developer based in Serbia, working remotely. Not an agency, not a reseller, not a middleman who forwards your brief to somebody cheaper.
Most of what gets sold as "web design" is layers. You talk to a salesperson, who briefs a project manager, who assigns a designer, who hands off to a developer you never meet. Every layer adds cost and loses a little of what you actually said.
Here there are no layers. The call, the quote, the design, the code and the maintenance email six months later are all the same person. That is the whole proposition, and it is why the prices work out the way they do: there is no sales team, no office and no account manager to pay for.
Where we are, and why it matters
The company is registered in Serbia, near Novi Sad, and the work is done remotely. Serbia is on Central European Time, so the working day overlaps with almost all of Europe and the mornings overlap with the UK.
Invoices are issued from a registered company with a tax number, not from a personal account. For clients inside the EU that means normal, deductible paperwork. Full company details are in the footer of every page.
What gets built besides client work
Four products, founded or co-founded, built and shipped. They are here as evidence rather than portfolio decoration: it is easy to claim you can build something with accounts, payments and an admin panel, and harder to have done it repeatedly on your own money.
Mailly
Web appCo-founder and developer
A tool for running email campaigns with AI: it researches each recipient individually and writes them a tailored message, then sends in large batches at once.
Dxstinity
Mobile appCo-founder and developer
A compatibility app: it shows how well two people match and on what, calculated from astrological data.
Dribbler
Mobile appFounder and developer
An app for players: profile, team, ratings from matches played, and tracking your own form across a season.
Fideox
Web appFounder and developer
A Web3 revenue-sharing app: the split is written to the blockchain, so every participant can verify it themselves.
How we work
You talk to the person who writes the code
There is no account manager between you and the work. The person on the call is the person building the site, which means answers come back without a round trip and nothing gets lost in translation.
The price is agreed before the work, not after
One figure and one date, in writing, before anything starts. It changes only if you ask for something outside what was agreed, and then you get the new number before that work begins, not on the invoice.
No promises nobody can keep
Nobody can guarantee a position on Google, and anyone who does is lying to you. What can be promised is the work: correct structure, real speed, structured data, a sitemap that is actually right. That is what you are told, and that is what you get.
You own everything at the end
The domain is registered in your name, the code is yours, the hosting account is yours. If you ever want to move to someone else, you can, and nothing is held hostage to make leaving painful.
